The job market is a mess.
This board tries not to add to it.
I spent too many evenings applying to jobs that didn't list pay, or had already closed. So I built a smaller board: you have to show the salary, and if nobody will say the job is still open, it comes down.
How I run this
If a feature fights these, it doesn't ship.
“Competitive” is not a number. Every public job needs a salary range. I don't make exceptions for “we'll tell them in the interview.”
Every 14 days we ask. There's an email reminder. Silence, and the listing expires. That's how boards stay honest instead of rotting.
It compares your profile to the job: skills, level, location, lowest pay you'll take. You can see what matched and what didn't. I'm not selling you a magic score.
We don't sell it, and we don't send it to companies you didn't apply to. From your profile you can download your data or delete the account.
Listings are public pages. If you have to log in just to see the title and pay, I did it wrong.
The first job from a new employer waits until someone reads it. If you report a listing, I try to look at it within a day. Junk gets hidden, not filed away.
What this is not
This is a job board, not LinkedIn. If a feature doesn't help you decide whether to apply, I don't want it here.
- No resume chatbot. I'm not shipping a coach that rewrites your life into keywords.
- No fake urgency. You won't see “8 people viewed this.” I don't have a clean number for that, and I won't invent one.
- No messages, no feed. You came to find a job, not to network at a stranger.
- Filters stay free. Pay, remote, experience — I don't lock those behind a seeker plan.
- You can leave. Download your data or delete the account from your profile. I don't keep a spare copy.
- Reports get read. I aim for a day. If I miss that, it's on me, not on a bot that “noted” it.
One person. No committee.
I run this. There isn't a growth team testing how long to hide the salary. If something's broken or dumb, email me and I'll see it.
